Having been here before for my nervous system, this time it was unbearable pain across the front of both knees. I thought it would be down to playing hockey too much and not enough recovery. Went to see Cara who was quick to diagnose patellar tendinopathy in both my knees. It wasn’t want I wanted to hear as I thought I’d have to give up playing hockey again due to injury but Cara said no keep playing just be careful with what your doing. Its been 6 months since I had my first appointment and today Cara said I was ready to be discharged from their care and continue doing what I was doing. Can’t thank Cara enough because she acted so professional at all times but was a shoulder to cry on when this injury was annoying me from playing without pain.
